The Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a messageu on his social media account about the attack by Israeli snipers that targeted the TRT crew directly.
Head of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:
"I condemn the attack on the TRT crew, who were directly targeted by Israeli snipers while reporting that there is no more space left even in the cemeteries in Gaza.
Israel will certainly be held accountable for its genocidal crimes as well as its attacks and massacres against TRT and other journalists who opened a "communication corridor" connecting Gaza to the rest of the world.
I wish a quick recovery to TRT reporter Sami Barhoum and the TRT family."
