Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun reacted to Israel's attack on the tent where journalists were located with a message posted on his social media account.
In his message, Head of Communications Altun said:
"Last night, another incident was added to the ongoing attacks that Israel has been conducting for months, indiscriminately targeting schools, playgrounds, hospitals, and places of worship, resulting in the deaths of over 50 thousand individuals.
In an attack on a tent where journalists were on a news vigil near a hospital, the Zionist murderers once again slaughtered the truth.
What sort of inhumane actions must occur for the world to intervene and halt this genocidal regime that descends to the depths of burning innocent individuals alive in tents, the sole refuge they have, in makeshift health units where they seek healing with scarce resources, and even in mosques and churches where they gather to worship, holding onto their faith despite all that they endure!
How many more innocents must perish before this disgrace, which transcends the terms tragedy, atrocity, massacre, and even genocide, finally comes to a close!
How many more of our journalist colleagues must face brutal murder at the hands of Israel, which blatantly disregards fundamental human rights, including freedom of expression and freedom of information?
Currently, humanity, particularly the Western world and their puppet media outlets that continue to advocate for these rights, are deserving of the most severe condemnation for their failure to speak out against, halt, and feel shame for the actions of these genocidal creatures.
In light of all these challenges, we, as the Republic of Türkiye, will persist in amplifying our voice, supporting our Palestinian and Gazan brothers and sisters across all domains, striving for an immediate end to the bloodshed, and ensuring that those responsible for Israeli terrorism are held accountable on the international stage."
