In a social media post he shared on October 29, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, underscored that the Century of Türkiye vision is establishing the groundwork for the forthcoming century.
In his post, Head of Communications Altun said:
"One hundred and one years ago, a nation that accomplished the unthinkable was enshrined in history. October 29 is an epic in which the struggle for freedom, waged among great hardships, was crowned with success and the passion for independence stretched into eternity. October 29 is a very special day that epitomises our unity, solidarity, and resolve from the outset. Today, we are excited and proud to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
We are determined to preserve the rich heritage handed to us by our forefathers and to leave a stronger Türkiye for future generations.
The historic accomplishments, mega projects, and our vision of the Century of Türkiye, which were achieved under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, establish the groundwork for the next century and increase our motivation to achieve our objectives.
We will persist in our efforts to propel our nation towards a more prosperous future. We will keep battling all forms of danger, aiming at our unity and solidarity. Furthermore, we will work tirelessly towards establishing a world where peace and justice prevail, not only within our region but on a global scale, which is what humanity needs most today.
With these sentiments, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our nation on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day. I respectfully and gratefully commemorate all our heroes who dedicated their lives to our struggle for independence and future, foremost among them the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
