The Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, posted a video on his social media account marking "May 1: Labour and Solidarity Day."
In his post, Head of Communications Altun said:
"In line with our vision of civilisation, which holds labour and the sweat of one's brow sacred, we have always stood by labourers and workers." This approach has led us to recognise every effort that elevates labour, boosts production, and creates employment opportunities as a step towards a stronger future for Türkiye.
Our objective is to join forces with our industrious and dedicated workers and labourers to turn this Century of Türkiye into one characterised by labour, production, investment, employment, growth, development, and prosperity, all under the leadership of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
I offer my most heartfelt congratulations to all of our labourer brothers and sisters, who, through their tireless labour, diligent efforts, and determination, contribute to the strength of our country during this significant march.
With these sentiments, I wholeheartedly celebrate May 1, Labour and Solidarity Day, and reiterate that we hold the honour and value of labour in the highest regard."
