Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun marked June 5, World Environment Day, by sharing a post on his social media account.
Head of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:
"We all have a fundamental responsibility to ensure that the world is left in a more habitable and healthier state for future generations.
We continue to fulfil our responsibilities to our common home, the world, through the Zero Waste Project, which was initiated by First Lady Emine Erdoğan and has since evolved into a global environmental movement.
Let us not forget that future generations have the right to live in a healthy environment. It is our collective responsibility to ensure this.
On this occasion, I congratulate both June 5, World Environment Day and Türkiye Environment Week."
