In a post shared on his social media account, Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun marked the 41st anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Head of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:
"I wholeheartedly congratulate the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on its 41st anniversary of founding and November 15 Republic Day.
I commemorate our martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the independence of the TRNC and our heroic ghazis with gratitude and respect.
Cyprus is an inseparable national cause of our nation. We will continue to defend the rights and the legal status of the Turkish Cypriots with the same resolve today as we have in the past."
