Head of Communications Altun holds bilateral meetings as part of the “Stratcom Summit 24”

Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun held bilateral meetings as part of the International Strategic Communication Forum (Stratcom Summit 24).

Head of Communications Altun held bilateral meetings with the ministers of communication and information of various countries as part of the forum organised by our Presidency's Directorate of Communications with the theme of "AI in Communication: Trends, Traps and Transition" for the fourth time this year in Istanbul.

On the first day of the forum, Head of Communications Altun met with Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev, Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy of the State of Palestine Dr Abdul Razzaq Al-Natsheh, Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan Attaullah Tarar, Minister of Information of Lebanon Ziad Makary, Minister of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Dejan Ristić, Spanish news agency EFE President Miguel Ángel Oliver and NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Marie-Doha Besancenot.

On the second day of the forum, Head of Communications Altun met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, the Minister of Communications and Media of Gabon Laurence Ndong, the Minister of Communication, Media and Culture and Government Spokesperson of Togo Yawa Ahofa Kouigan, and the Director General of the Media and Information Agency of the Republic of Albania Alteo Hysi.

Strategic communication, new communication strategies, digital media, crisis management, combating disinformation, and regional and global developments were addressed during the meetings.
