Head of Communications Altun condemns Israel’s attack on IHH aid workers in Gaza

Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a post on his social media account due to the death of Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) volunteers in Israeli airstrikes while trying to deliver aid to Gazans.

In his post, Head of Communications Altun said:

"The Zionist Israeli administration, which continues its systematic massacres in Gaza without regard for the young, old, children, or women, and spreads terror to the extent of genocide, is also raining bombs on innocent aid volunteers trying to deliver a bite of bread and a sip of water to the people.

We strongly condemn this brutality that forces innocent people to hunger and thirst with an inhumane mentality, and we call on humanity to raise its voice louder and take more concrete steps against this atrocity.

I wish Allah's mercy upon the young aid volunteers who were martyred and offer my condolences to IHH.

As Türkiye, we will continue to work with all our capacity in the international arena to stop the shedding of innocent blood, and we will intensify our efforts to ensure that the murderers responsible for Israel's brutal terrorism are held accountable before international law sooner or later."
