Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun celebrated June 30th Foster Family Day in a message he shared on his social media account.
In his post, Head of Communications Altun said:
''June 30—the day the Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti (Turkish Association for Protection of Children) was founded—was designated as Foster Family Day by a decision signed by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on June 23, 2021.
Every child deserves to be raised in a loving home. Foster families give our children new hopes and fresh starts in life, as well as a nurturing family atmosphere.
On this significant day, I sincerely thank all foster families for their dedication and congratulate Foster Family Day.''
