The Digital Display Center, where researcher of Islamic history of science Prof. Fuat Sezgin’s works and life are promoted, is opened in Taksim Square by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications.
In the Center which is established in Taksim Square and has 600 square meters of indoor space, the devices and techniques that Islamic scientists found are introduced with videos, digital holograms and three-dimensional visuals in four different sections.
In the Center, videos are played showing Ibn-i Sina, Ceziri, Farabi, Biruni, the distinguished figures who affected the history of science, as well as Prof. Fuat Sezgin who dedicated himself to the Islamic history of science.
The Center will remain open until August 9.
