Four international agreements approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have been published in the Official Gazette.
The decision regarding the implementation of the "Agreement on Grants in the Field of Health between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" signed in Ankara on April 20 has been published in the Official Gazette.
As a sign of friendship and goodwill, Türkiye has agreed to provide the TRNC with a set quantity of vaccinations, antiserums, and medicines.
The decision regarding the approval of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Water between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia" signed in Ankara on August 18, 2021, was also published in the Official Gazette.
In accordance with the agreement, the parties will work together to develop, manage and protect the water resources within the framework of their national legislation by exchanging knowledge, experience and technology on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit.
The decision regarding the approval of the "Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Youth and Sports between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Niger" signed in Niamey on July 21, 2020, was also published in the Official Gazette.
The Agreement commits to fostering and supporting the growth and improvement of ties between the two nations in the field of sports.
The decision regarding the approval of the "Agreement on Cooperation in the Fields of Information Technologies and Diplomatic Archives between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Niger" signed in Ankara on August 15, 2019, was published in the Official Gazette. The agreement intends to lay the groundwork for extensive cooperation between the two countries in the fields of information technologies and diplomatic archives.
The effective dates of some international agreements determined
On the other hand, the decision regarding the dates of entry into force of some international agreements signed by Türkiye was published in the Official Gazette.
The effective date of the "Agreement on Profitable Activities by Individuals Accompanying the Members of the Diplomatic Mission, Consulate and Permanent Representative Office" between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Swiss Federal Council" signed in Ankara on March 22, 2019, has been determined as May 14, 2022.
