Addressing citizens in the Haymana district of Ankara, President Erdoğan said following the elections they will rapidly implement the structural reforms that will further strengthen the Turkish economy against attacks, and that they will take all necessary measures to that end.
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens during a campaign rally in the Haymana district of Ankara ahead of the local elections slated for March 31, 2019.
“We will take important steps to build an economic structure that will boost employment”
Addressing citizens first in the district of Haymana, President Erdoğan, referring to the March 31 local elections, said following the elections they will rapidly implement the structural reforms that will further strengthen the Turkish economy against attacks, and that they will take all necessary measures to that end. The President further stressed: “In line with our goals, we will take very important steps to build an economic structure that will boost investments, production, growth and employment.”

Following Haymana rally, President Erdoğan proceeded to the Elmadağ district of Ankara and addressed citizens there at a campaign rally. Touching upon Turkey’s anti-terror fight and operations during his speech, President Erdoğan underlined that they have buried the separatists into the holes they dug, and noted: “We have dealt heavy blows to all bloody-handed gangs, from the PKK and the PYD to the FETO and DAESH.” Further stating that they have raided the lairs of terrorist organizations, President Erdoğan noted that they have recently destroyed a group of ringleaders of the PKK terrorist organization during a successful operation conducted in northern Iraq.

Addressing citizens in the Çubuk district of Ankara later in the day, President Erdoğan, noting that they are aware of the fact that the successive elections in recent years have tired the people out, stated that following the March 31 elections, an uninterrupted period of four and a half years will begin, and added that they will make the most of that period to achieve Turkey’s goals for 2023.
