Five international agreements approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have been promulgated in the Official Gazette.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Environment" signed on January 30, 2022, in Male, the capital of the Maldives, agreed on the intent to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and expand cooperation in the field of environment, to preserve and improve the environment for the welfare of present and future generations, and the importance of the sustainable development approach.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture," which Türkiye signed separately with the Maldives and Nicaragua, aims to develop cooperation in agriculture and agricultural technology between the parties’ agricultural organisations and institutions in accordance with the legal framework.
According to the "Cultural Cooperation Agreement" signed between Türkiye and El Salvador on September 26, 2019, in New York, both countries will exert efforts to develop cooperation between cultural and artistic institutions.
Furthermore, the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Meteorology," signed on February 14, 2022, in Abu Dhabi by the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change and the National Meteorological Centre of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Presidential Affairs, has been promulgated in the Official Gazette.
