Celebrations that will start with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Anıtkabir and continue with him accepting the greetings at the Presidential Complex will continue again at the Presidential Complex in the evening after the official parade.
On August 30, at 20:30, a special concert for the Victory Day will be performed by the Presidential Guard Regiment Band Command and the Ministry of National Defence’s Mehteran and Harmony Band Command at the Presidential Complex.
The concert will be broadcast live on the Presidency and the Directorate of Communications’ Youtube channels and social media accounts, as well as television channels.
Great Victory Will Be Written in the Skies with 300 UAV
After the concert, a light show with the theme of “August 30 Victory” will be performed by the Directorate of Communications over the Presidential Complex with 300 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
The figures symbolizing the cohesion, mobilization, struggle and victory of the Turkish nation in the War of Independence will be featured visually in the sky.
August 30 Victory at Digital Display Centres
The Digital Display Centres established by the Directorate of Communications in 7 provinces including Bursa, Çanakkale, Samsun, Konya, Kayseri, Antalya and Diyarbakır will also host visitors with the theme of “August 30 Victory”.
In order not to forget the meaning and importance of the August 30 Victory, the struggle of the nation under the leadership of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk will be exhibited in digital environment using visual technologies.
In the centres where the August 30 Victory will be explained with three-dimensional image (hologram), 360-degree video and video mapping techniques accompanied by a cinematic sound system, tactile paving for the visually impaired and sign language for the hearing impaired are also available.
