President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Eid al-Adha with a post on his social media account.
In his post, President Erdoğan stated:
"I sincerely congratulate our nation and the Islamic world on the blessed Eid al-Adha.
I wish that Eid will bring tranquility to our hearts, well-being to our country and peace to lands dear to our hearts, particularly Palestine and Sudan.
May our Eid be blessed."
President Erdoğan's message, "I congratulate my beloved nation on Eid al-Adha and wish them well-being," was also displayed on the digital screen at the Presidency's Directorateof Communications headquarters.
