Directorate of Communications will organize a panel titled “Turkey’s Role in NATO and Regional Security Challenges” at the Naval and Military Club in London on December 2 as part of the panel series called Turkey Talks. The Turkish delegation will have a meeting with the Financial Times Editorial Board on the same day after the panel, which will address Turkey’s importance for NATO as well as NATO’s importance for Turkey.
The Turkish delegation will also attend NATO’s outreach event titled “NATO Engages: Innovating the Alliance” to be organized on December 3 as part of NATO Leaders’ Meeting, addressing the significance and future of NATO in the changing world.
On December 4, the delegation will come together with “Conservative Friends of Turkey (CFT)" at a roundtable meeting, which will be chaired by Nick de Bois, Former Conservative Party MP and Former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State for Exiting the EU (Brexit). The meeting will concentrate on Turkey-UK Relations at the level of economy and security after potential Brexit. The parties will exchange views on the path to be followed in order to advance bilateral relations further.
