Presidency’s Directorate of Communications prepared a special video to commemorate the 107th anniversary of the Epic of Sarıkamış.
Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared the anniversary video on his social media accounts.
Director of Communications Altun said, "View not the soil you tread on as mere earth, recognize it. Think about the shroudless thousands who lie so nobly beneath you. On the 107th anniversary of the Battle of Sarıkamış, I commemorate our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of independence and future with mercy, gratitude and respect."
The post also included a video featuring the recital of Arif Nihat Asya’s poem “A flag waiting for the wind” by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the depiction of our soldiers frozen to death in Sarıkamış.
