Directorate of Communications launches special communication campaign for Mecca Agreement

The Directorate of Communications has carried out a comprehensive communication campaign at iconic locations across Ankara and İstanbul to convey to the public the message of unity, solidarity, and cooperation embodied in the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement.

As part of the campaign, specially prepared content was displayed on digital screens, while the 15 July Martyrs Bridge was illuminated in the colours of the flags of the countries party to the agreement.

Visual content prepared by the Directorate of Communications as part of the communication campaign for the Mecca Agreement was displayed at prominent locations across Ankara and İstanbul.

In Ankara, special content on the Mecca Agreement was displayed on the digital screens of the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications building, the Türk Telekom building, and Atakule, one of the capital’s landmarks.

In İstanbul, campaign content was displayed on the digital screen at the Atatürk Cultural Centre (AKM). In addition, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, one of İstanbul’s iconic landmarks, was illuminated in the colours of the flags of the countries that are party to the Mecca Agreement.

The Galata Tower constituted another part of the campaign’s visibility efforts in İstanbul. Specially prepared content highlighting the Mecca Agreement was displayed on the Galata Tower.

Through the campaign, the Directorate of Communications enhanced the public visibility of the message of unity, solidarity, friendship, and international cooperation embodied by the Mecca Agreement.

The campaign, which ran from Ankara to İstanbul, used digital communication platforms along with special lighting and visual displays to convey the Mecca Agreement’s focus on a shared future and solidarity to a wide audience.

In line with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s vision for peace, solidarity, and cooperation, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications continues to communicate Türkiye’s messages on the international stage to the public through a range of communication channels and strategic communication initiatives.
