The communication campaign launched by the Directorate of Communications on the occasion of the November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in order to raise awareness on violence against women continues also on December 5 Women's Rights Day.
The series of short films prepared by the Directorate of Communications with the support of Turkish state banks such as Vakıfbank, Halkbank and Ziraat Bankası call on women and all segments of the society to "not hide it" and "not ignore it" when faced with violence.
While the state continues to fight violence against women with all its relevant institutions and organisations, it draws attention in the campaign, where everyone is invited to take a step and take a stand against violence, to the error of the tendency of covering up all kinds of violence, including harassment, regardless of age, status, social segment and economic situation, without ignoring and hiding problems.
On the occasion of December 5 Women's Rights Day, the Directorate of Communications once again emphasizes its determination to combat violence against women, which is a global problem.
