The Directorate of Communications and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism jointly organized the Grand Republic Concert as part of October 29 Republic Day celebrations in the ancient city of Patara near Kaş district of Antalya.
The Grand Republic Concert, performed by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in the Parliament Building of Patara Ancient City, started with the National Anthem at 19:23 on October 29 in order to mark the anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey.
The Grand Republic Concert, which lasted for half an hour, was broadcast live on television channels as well as social media accounts of the Presidency and the Directorate of Communications.
Diving shows and light displays were held simultaneously with the concert in Sunken City Kekova.
Underwater light show with 97 divers in the Mediterranean
The Directorate of Communications also organized a special underwater light show with 97 divers as part of October 29 Republic Day celebrations with the purpose of contributing to the promotion of the Mediterranean internationally.
