Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that the celebrations for August 30 Victory Day were not events that could be framed by casual and artificial debates, and the celebrations would be held in line with the state solemnity and plans prepared months in advance.
Altun shared a post on his social media account regarding discussions about the ceremonies for August 30 Victory Day.
In his post, Altun noted, “We would like to underline once again that the celebrations for August 30 Victory Day are not events that can be framed by casual and artificial debates. The celebrations will be held in line with the state solemnity and plans prepared months in advance.”
Indicating that some people in this country had been trying to create artificial regime crises to provoke tutelage circles for years and that these elements had always manipulated official holidays and symbols while doing this, Altun said that they were again faced with such useless attempts today.
Noting that today the state was truly integrated with its nation in real terms, the tutelage circles were removed, juntas disappeared, the source of terrorism began to be drained, and the democratic politics established a reputation, Altun emphasized that all these were achieved thanks to the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
