Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that Turkey, world-renowned for its organizational capabilities, would be an outstanding host for the 2020 Formula 1 World Championship.
In a thread on his Twitter account, Altun said, “Like all other sports fans, we have been overjoyed with the return of the Formula 1 event to Turkey after a 9-year hiatus. Turkey, which is world-renowned for its organizational capabilities, will once again be an outstanding host for the race on November 13-15, with the permission of Allah.”
Fahrettin Altun thanked particularly President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who attached great importance to this issue for a long while and enabled the Presidency to host the event, as well as all stakeholders who contributed to the return of Formula 1 to Turkey.
