Director of Communications Altun’s post on “March 18 Çanakkale Victory”

Director of Communications Altun: "It is one of our most important duties to convey the meaning and value of the Çanakkale Victory to future generations. A century later, bearing the legacy of this victory, we are dedicated to moving forward into the future with the vision of the 'Century of Türkiye' under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."

Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on social media with images of the Turkish flag projected with a light show on historical sites across Türkiye on the occasion of the anniversary of the March 18 Çanakkale Victory.

Describing Çanakkale Victory as an epic replete with acts of valour that had far-reaching consequences, changing the course of history and symbolising a deep love for the homeland, Director of Communications Altun said:

"The Çanakkale Victory, which is the ultimate symbol of our beloved nation's struggle for the homeland and sacred values, and the importance of the legacy bequeathed to us by this unique epic, is one of the most valuable lessons of our history. This victory serves as an illustration of the resolve and valour of our nation in the pursuit of unity and solidarity, illuminating centuries of history. The 'Çanakkale Spirit' symbolises the unwavering resolve of our people to defend their freedom at any time and in any situation. For this reason, it is one of our most important duties to convey the meaning and value of the Çanakkale Victory to future generations. A century later, bearing the legacy of this victory, we are dedicated to moving forward into the future with the vision of the 'Century of Türkiye' under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."

Underscoring that they will persist in their efforts to safeguard and conserve the homeland left by the martyrs, Director of Communications Altun said that in observance of the March 18 Çanakkale Victory anniversary, the Presidency's Directorate of Communications projected the Turkish flag through a light show at historical sites throughout Türkiye, allowing the public to partake in the triumphant spirit.

On the 109th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory and March 18 Martyrs' Day, Director of Communications Altun commemorated Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, all martyrs and veterans, with mercy and celebrated the Çanakkale Victory.
