The Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on his social media account about the national combat aircraft KAAN, which conducted its maiden flight.
In his post, Director of Communications Altun said:
"KAAN, the combatant of Strong Türkiye up in the skies, took off in the pursuit of peace, justice, and equity. In line with the Century of Türkiye vision of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we have worked hard to move from the obscurity of the old Türkiye, whose domestic and national projects were halted and cancelled due to various impositions, to a strong Türkiye that instills confidence in friends and evokes fear in enemies with a leading-edge defence industry that plays a crucial role in combating terrorism with its domestic and national ammunition. At the end of all these efforts, our National Combat Aircraft, KAAN, stands before us in all of its grandeur."
In his post, Director of Communications Altun also shared a video featuring President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's remarks describing KAAN and the technical specifications of the aircraft.
