In a statement posted on his social media account, the Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun extended his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Ministry, Ankara, and the police officers who sustained minor injuries during the attempted terrorist attack in front of the Ministry of Interior.
Director of Communications Altun noted that, following the attempted attack, the relevant authorities have diligently carried out the necessary investigations and operations, resulting in the neutralisation of two terrorists, and added:
"We kindly request that our citizens be vigilant against disinformation activities and respect the information provided by official sources, as in all processes of a similar nature. We would like to stress once again how important it is for our media to continue reporting on the matter with a sense of responsibility. We will never allow terrorism to shape Türkiye's politics, and we will continue to fight terrorism in every sphere."
