In a message he issued on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of AA, Director of Communications Altun congratulated the foundation anniversary of AA, which has made Türkiye's voice heard in the world for 102 years.
Expressing that AA maintains its historical duty assumed during the Turkish National Struggle with the same conscience and effort today and that its witnessing of Türkiye's and the world's history since its establishment is a precious treasure, Director of Communications Altun said:
"We are proud that our national agency has been a reliable news source on an international scale from past to present. With its expanding multilingual broadcasting capacity and growing global reach, AA has established itself as one of the leading international news agencies, producing news, images, and videos that have resonated not only in our country but also around the world. From the Karabakh War to the Russia-Ukraine War, from the refugee crisis to the Covid-19 pandemic, AA has demonstrated its power in the field reporting on all regional and global developments."
Emphasising that AA would achieve even greater success in the future with its human resources, news infrastructure, and new media investments, as well as diversified thematic and dynamic publishing efforts in line with its enhanced vision and mission, Director Altun said:
