Director of Communications Altun: “Turkey’s most important issue in the coming period is a new constitution free of all kinds of tutelage and legal and economic reforms”

Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said: "Turkey's most important issue in the coming period is a new constitution free of all kinds of tutelage and legal and economic reforms, with the unwavering collaboration of the People's Alliance and our august nation's support. There is no turning back from this path."

In a thread on his Twitter account, Director of Communications Altun stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his companions were the pioneers of the innovations that Turkey needed to implement, and of the structural reforms which would strengthen Turkey's new position in the changing world system, and the leadership policies carried out in regional and political terms.

Stressing that the international system was confronted with a different crisis every day, the global problems remained unsolved rather than being resolved, the humanity awaited for a new glimmer of hope in this period, during which Turkey was extremely determined to take concrete steps for its own stability and the tranquillity of the region, Altun added, "As a requirement of responsibility that history places on its shoulders with the memory of thousands of years of state tradition, the implementation of 'structural reforms' is now a necessity for Turkey. These reforms are the immediate precursor of great breakthroughs which are much more beyond the daily political calculations."

Director of Communications Altun stated the following:

"We must put all the remains of tutelage on the dusty shelves of history for the peace, tranquillity and security of our country, our region and our fraternal geography. In this sense, together with legal and economic reforms, studies of a new constitution are of great importance. During this period, when our country took the initiative in the international arena, realizing its own doctrines one by one, and targeting new national and global visions with structural reforms, trying to terrorize our streets is a fifth column activity that we are no longer surprised by. Turkey, inspired by Anatolia, the cradle of civilizations, will implement structural reforms to consolidate its regional and global power in the direction it has set, no matter what the cost or the foreign circles that the political legionaries within us lend support.

Mr Devlet Bahçeli has also supported our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call for a ‘new constitution’ in order to eliminate all the remains of tutelage and begin a new phase in our thousands of years of state tradition. The path to be followed is clear from here on. Turkey's most important issue in the coming period is a new constitution free of all kinds of tutelage and legal and economic reforms, with the unwavering collaboration of the People's Alliance and our august nation's support. There is no turning back from this path. The 21st century is Turkey's century.”
