Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a congratulatory post for the 100th anniversary of the Republic on his social media account, stating, "Today, with hope, joy and great pride, we are opening the doors of the "Century of Türkiye," which we see as the fully deserved reward for the sacrifice and labour of our august nation for a full century."

Today is the 29th of October, 2023!
We are experiencing the rightful pride and happiness of reaching the 100th anniversary of our Republic, which was founded as the most distinguished work of a struggle unparalleled in the history of the world, a perseverance and determination unmatched in human history, and an unbounded love of homeland and nation.
Exactly 100 years ago today, the Turkish nation crowned the blessed march for independence led by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on May 19, 1919, with the proclamation of the Republic in Ankara, the unshakeable headquarters of the national struggle, and demonstrated to the entire world that it would never, ever yield to attempts of occupation and captivity.
With the proclamation of the Republic, the attacks that inflicted every kind of cruelty on the Turkish nation and all types of ideas that sought salvation and peace in colonialism were consigned to the dusty shelves of history, while the determination and resolve exhibited by our heroic ancestors have inspired us and all oppressed peoples held captive for generations.
Today, under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, this determination and resolution, which we consider an honour to carry from the past to the future, is our greatest strength that will carry our nation to a blessed future with confident steps.
As of October 29, 2023, we are experiencing not only the pride and happiness of leaving a century behind but also the excitement of the first day of an era in which we will run towards many accomplishments and arrive at many beautiful tomorrows.

In a period full of instability and crises, where the world is suffering in the grip of cruelty and brutality, trying to rapidly move away from justice and truth, we, as the Republic of Türkiye, are walking towards the Century of Türkiye under the brave and determined leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Century of Türkiye is the name of a future in which we will carry our century-long achievements in every field, from economy to foreign policy, from technology to education, from arts to sports, to new heights in this beautiful homeland where we live in unity and solidarity, where peace and brotherhood prevail.
The Century of Türkiye means a future in which we will be victorious in our struggle for peace, justice, truth, and brotherhood, not only within our borders but all over the world.
I congratulate all our citizens on October 29 Republic Day, and hope that the Turkish nation, of which I am proud to be a member, will last forever.
On this occasion, I remember with mercy all our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country, especially the founder of our Republic, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
