Director of Communications Altun attended the State Incentives Promotion Days held at the Congresium Ankara ATO International Convention and Exhibition Centre. In his address at the event, Altun said, "We do not regard young people as an ideological playground. We regard them with all their hues and sociological distinctions."
Director of Communications Altun visited more than 40 booths, including those of Anadolu Agency, ministries, relevant institutions and organisations, directorates, offices and organisations affiliated with the presidency.
Altun, who was briefed on the activities by the officials, posed for a photo with the students participating in the event and chatted with them. In his address, Director of Communications Altun stated that the youth showed a great interest in the incentive days, which they held for the thirteenth time today.
Stating that more than 750 thousand people have attended the State Incentives Promotion Days to date, Director of Communications Altun said that the young people came together directly with government institutions and their representatives.
"Our youth will contribute much more to the country's future"
Emphasising that the State Incentives Promotion Days serve as a platform where ministries, directorates under the presidency, offices and significant institutions such as Anadolu Agency and TRT inform young people about grants, incentives, loans, scholarships, and internship opportunities, Director of Communications Altun added:
"This great public communication platform provides a setting for face-to-face and direct communication between the state and nation. Here, all of our institutions inform them directly about the efforts they exert and youth-related activities. On the other hand, they showcase the opportunities they offer to the youth and the ways in which those opportunities help young people make a difference in their lives and advance their chosen fields. In the last two decades, under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye has significant experienced growth and capacity expansion. Our country has developed, prospered, and strengthened. First and foremost, our youth play a crucial role in this empowerment and growth. The energy and human capital of our youth contribute significantly. The involvement of our youth in this enrichment is one of the most important pursuits of the public and the state. Our President emphasises this point repeatedly. Let our youth be the segments of society that can benefit the most from where Türkiye is now. When our young individuals make use of these opportunities, they will become more self-assured, save more money, and contribute much more to the country's future."
Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that they see youth as a guarantee for both the present and the future of a strong Türkiye.
Saying, "We do not regard youth as an ideological playground as someone imagines and creates. We approach them with all their colours and sociological differences." Director of Communications Altun stated that young people are part of society with a very broad sociology.
The Disaster of the Century
Director of Communications Altun said they were delighted to see the young people exerting such great efforts, especially in terms of technology production, while they were visiting the booths.
Pointing out that the earthquake disasters suffered made it difficult for them to implement the State Incentives Promotion Days, Director of Communications Altun noted:
"We have recently experienced a severe earthquake disaster called the disaster of the century. I extend my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the earthquake, wish Allah's mercy upon them and speedy recovery to the injured. We wanted to use this platform to raise social awareness on disaster. We asked our institutions to talk about their response to the earthquake disaster. All our ministries, directorates, and presidential offices put up remarkable effort during the disaster of the century. The management of the process began immediately after the earthquake under the leadership and direction of our President. Our state stood with its people. Institutions tell our youth what they did and will do in the disaster of the century. We wanted to raise social awareness about disaster communication and disaster. With this awareness, we genuinely wanted our society to be much better prepared and stronger against disasters. Our young people are also the most important stakeholders in this process."
Director of Communications Altun said the State Incentives Promotion Days would continue in Eskişehir, Denizli, and İzmir. They expect 1 million young people to attend the promotion days, and they will continue to conduct this activity in the near future.
