Director of Communications Altun shares video on July 15 with the hashtag “Victory of Democracy”

Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a video on July 15 created by the Directorate of Communications along with the hashtag “Victory of Democracy”.

In the video he shared on social media, Altun highlighted the significance of independence to the Turkish nation, as well as examples of gallantry displayed during World War I and the War of Independence.

The nation bringing down the coup plotters by pouring into the squares on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call against the coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO) on July 15, 2016, was widely featured in the video in which anti-democratic interventions that attempted to break the resilience of Türkiye were recalled.

The video included expressions such as "July 15, 2016, was a major turning point for the Turkish nation. The history-making Turkish nation declared to the entire world once more: Türkiye is invincible.” It was also indicated that Türkiye promptly picked up steam in the aftermath of the coup attempt and re-embarked on ventures through projects in every area ranging from the defence industry to transportation, energy to domestic and national brands.

The video also emphasized that with its prominence in diplomacy, Türkiye was the most essential standing key to social, political, humanitarian solutions and peace spanning from the Balkans to the Caucasus and the Eastern Mediterranean.
