Director of Communications Altun has stated:

"Türkiye claims 18th place in Media & Communications pillar of the Global Soft Power Index, climbing 10 spots from last year's rankings.

Factors like influential & trustworthy media and successful communication drive the steep increase of Türkiye in the media & communications pillar of Brand Finance’s Global Soft Power Index 2024.

Performing the highest in influence category, Türkiye ranked 13th out of 193 countries in the index.

The higher overall performance of Türkiye is determined by parameters such as international relations, culture, and heritage.

Thanks to conscious efforts like diplomatic activity, hosting major events, and nation branding campaigns to enhance its soft power, Türkiye is among the countries that recorded the fastest growth in soft power in the index between 2020-2024."
