Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said that Türkiye's strategy of eradicating terrorism at its source made significant contributions to its border security, territorial integrity and national unity, and that this strategy, as outlined by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, also promoted global peace.
In a post he shared on his social media account, Director of Communications Altun commented on "Winter Eagle" air operation launched by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern regions of Iraq and Syria against terrorist safe heavens, quoting the Ministry of National Defence's tweet with the caption "Terrorists' caves are being destroyed."
In his post, Director of Communications said:
"Our strategy of eradicating terrorism at its source has made significant contributions to our border security, territorial integrity and national unity. This strategy, as outlined by our President, also promotes global peace. The international community should lend more support to our strategy."
