Presidency's Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a post on his social media account regarding the "Forum of Tripoli for Government Communication," held under the theme of Disaster and Crisis Communication.
Director of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:
"We have deep historical and cultural ties with Libya, a friendly and brotherly country. Last year, Türkiye and Libya signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Media and Communication, which deepened our relations in this area.
We will dutifully continue to stand by our Libyan brothers and sisters, offering them unwavering support and helping to heal their wounds.
On behalf of the Libyan people, we are very pleased to know that the Libyan Government of National Accord attaches great importance to "Disaster and Crisis Communication" through the Tripoli Communication Forum.
Türkiye is dedicated to pursuing a society that is nationally and internationally resilient to natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
I hope that the "Forum of Tripoli for Government Communication" organised under the theme of Disaster and Crisis communication, will be auspicious."
