Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a video regarding the National Solidarity Campaign, which was launched by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the slogan “We are Self-Sufficient, Turkey.”
In his thread on his Twitter account, Altun said, “There is no you and I, there is US. In order to be in unity and to flow together in the river of brotherhood; #WeAreSelf-SufficientTurkey. We are protecting our brotherhood and unity; together we shall be a companion for the oppressed and a remedy for the wounded hearts.”
The video shared by Altun continued as follows:
“Do you know what it means to be us? It is riding a horse from Central Asia to Anatolia to rekindle a steppe dream. It is to say I am here, without looking around, when asked who is there. It is to assume responsibility without fear, under all circumstances.
It is to look into the future with the strength it takes from its glorious past, with a vision that goes beyond the horizons. Being Turkey is to be the remedy for the people in need by taking a tough stance in the most helpless moments.”
