Conveying his get-well wishes to the A Haber and CNN Türk press members, who were attacked in Ukraine, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said, “This heinous attack targeting our press members will never be tolerated. We will always stand by them and fight for their rights.”
In a post on his Twitter account, Altun stated that they received the news that A Haber reporter Orhan Sali, who was attacked in Ukraine, was still being treated in Türkiye, and that the CNN Türk reporters were also attacked near Kyiv.
Sharing the message; “The only consolation is that our friends are getting better. We convey our get-well wishes to A Haber and CNN Türk.” Altun said:
“This heinous attack targeting our press members will never be tolerated. We will always stand by them and fight for their rights. Our Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the staff of the Ministry have always stood by our members of the press. We thank them, as well.”
