Presidency's Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a post on his social media account after the Ax-3 mission, with Türkiye's first space traveller, Alper Gezeravcı, on board, started its journey.
In his post, Director of Communications Altun said, "Our country's first manned space journey has begun. May you have a prosperous journey, Alper Gezeravcı. Be proud, Türkiye; this is just the beginning."
The post also included images of the successful launch of the SpaceX spacecraft, with Gezeravcı on board.
