Stating that it is never acceptable for the people's will, which is the essence of democracy, and the representatives of the nation to be subjected to censorship unabashedly, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said, "The result of this arbitrariness and audacity is a world in which all values are erased one by one and minds are captured by lies. We will never allow this."
In a post on his Twitter account, Director of Communications Altun reacted to social media platforms' censorship practices. Indicating that it was witnessed day by day as these platforms silence the political institutions and the representatives of the nation, and beset the societies, Director of Communications Altun continued as follows:
"It is unacceptable that the will of the people, which is the essence of democracy, and the representatives of the nation are subjected to such unabashed censorship. Unfortunately, it has become the mission of these platforms to disorder the societies, to legitimize all kinds of immoral acts by ignoring national and moral values and obliging the world to the illusion of being 'virtual chaotic' by attributing the acts of marginal groups to the societies in general."
Director of Communications Altun emphasized that these platforms, another activity branch of the global exploitation order, did their part very well regarding the 'exploitation of apprehension and values', and added, "The result of this arbitrariness and audacity is a world in which all values are erased one by one and minds are captured by lies. We will never allow this."
