Director of Communications Altun issues statement regarding removal of TİKA plaque by Israeli police in Jerusalem

Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said: “The removal of TİKA’s (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) plaque at the Yusufiye Cemetery by the Israeli police in Jerusalem is a manifestation of the deep anger at our crescent-star flag, a haven for the oppressed around the world.”

In a thread on his Twitter account, Altun noted the following:

“The removal of TİKA’s plaque at the Yusufiye Cemetery, which was restored by TİKA, by the Israeli police in Jerusalem is a manifestation of the deep anger at our crescent-star flag, a haven for the oppressed around the world. The reason for this intolerance is quite well-known.

We will not give up our stance that captures the hearts and gives breath to the oppressed at all costs and will continue to restore hearts all over the world.

Conscious of our responsibility, we will rush to help everyone who is in need without hesitation, even for a moment.”
