Presidency's Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a post on his social media account regarding Israel's hospital strike in Gaza.
Director of Communications Altun stated that the justified outrage sparked by Israel's latest massacre in Gaza was shared by Türkiye, along with the rest of the world.
Director of Communications Altun noted:
"It is of the utmost importance that our citizens express their opinions about Israel within the framework of democratic rights and liberties and that they assist our security forces in their efforts to maintain public order. Our duty today is to be the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people and to act in unity and solidarity. While raising our voices, we must maintain our common sense and fortitude. It is essential that our reactions remain within the confines of democracy. Together, we will prove to the world that we are the voice of truth, the oppressed, reason, and peace.
Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call "for all humanity to act to stop this unprecedented atrocity in Gaza" is the voice of our nation's collective conscience. Once again, we condemn Israel's attacks targeting civilians in Gaza and wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to the wounded."
