Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on social media, saying, “The United States Board on Geographic Names has recently taken the necessary action to refer to our country as Türkiye. We will maintain our efforts to have our official name Türkiye recognised as a worldwide brand.”
