President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the Spanish National Football Team on winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup, defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final.
"I wholeheartedly congratulate the Spanish National Football Team on their 2026 FIFA World Cup championship and, on behalf of my country and nation, extend my sincere greetings and affection to the brotherly Spanish people," President Erdoğan said in a post shared on his NSosyal account.
The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, also issued a congratulatory message on his Nsosyal account saying, "I congratulate the Spanish National Football Team on their success against Argentina in the finals and winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup championship."
