George Tykhyi, Media and Communications Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, commended Türkiye's communication strategies throughout the Black Sea grain deal.
Speaking at the International Strategic Communication Summit (Stratcom Summit) in Istanbul, Tykhyi remarked that the summit was informative and full of fascinating ideas that he could benefit from and that he enjoyed all of the panels.
Tykhyi highlighted their appreciation for Türkiye's communication, particularly during the course of the grain deal, and added that it was an excellent decision to hold this summit in Türkiye.
Under the auspices of President Erdoğan, Ukraine, Russia, Türkiye, and the United Nations signed the grain deal on July 22 in Istanbul, which Türkiye coordinated to find a solution to the global food crisis caused by the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
President Erdoğan stated that as a result of the quadrilateral meetings hosted by Türkiye, the Black Sea Grain Corridor Deal was extended for an additional 120 days as of November 19.
International Strategic Communication Summit
The summit, held for the second time in Istanbul, provides a forum for worldwide discussion of global issues in strategic communication.
Fifty-two speakers and more than 3,000 participants from more than 24 countries are expected to attend the summit, organised with the theme of "Strategic Communication in the Age of Uncertainty."
There are stands of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, TRT, Anadolu Agency, and Turkish Airlines, as well as Google and YouTube in the event area.
