The "Century of Türkiye" exhibition, organised by our Directorate and comprising 40 images of Türkiye's historical and natural wonders, was opened at the Yunus Emre Institute in London.
The exhibition's opening was attended by Türkiye's Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertaş, Presidency's Deputy Director of Communications, Çağatay Özdemir, Director of Yunus Emre Institute in London, Mehmet Karakuş, and many other guests.
Ertaş visited the exhibition featuring 40 photographs showcasing Aegean coasts, ancient cities, historical buildings, and landscapes and received information regarding the photographs during his tour.
The van with a digital screen reading "From Türkiye to the UK, we celebrate the beauty of Ramadan and common heritage" drove around the Yunus Emre Institute in London, where the exhibition was opened, and then around Trafalgar Square, where the "Türkiye-themed" community iftar event was organised.
The digital Eid greeting screen featured examples of traditional Turkish decorative arts in the background.
