Ambassador Victor Rybak of Belarus, Ambassador Michael-Christos Diamessis of Greece and Ambassador José Luis Martínez y Hernández of Mexico presented their letters of credence to President Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.
Souvenir photographs were taken after families of ambassadors and some embassy officials were introduced to President Erdoğan.
During the reception, President Erdoğan had a conversation with Mediha Sukriye Nami Martinez Hernandez Osmanoglu, who is Mexican Ambassador Hernandez’s wife and granddaughter of Sultan Abdulhamid II’s daughter Ayse Sultan.
Mediha Osmanoglu, who has close relations with Turkish Embassy to Mexico and knows little Turkish, had previously attended the commemoration ceremony held in Turkey for the members of the Ottoman dynasty and Abdulhamid II.
