Speaking at a key-delivery ceremony of new houses in Aydın, President Erdoğan said: “When the separatist terrorist threat in northern Syria is brought to an end without escalation, not only the Syrian people but our entire region will find relief. As Syria turns into an island of prosperity and stability in the region, we will all benefit from this. The beneficiaries of a united, indivisible, and secure Syria will be Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, Alawites, Druze, Christians, and all other Syrian citizens.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the Ceremony for the Drawing of 6,973 Houses, Key Delivery of 1,482 Houses and Opening of City Hospital and Other Newly-Completed Projects in Aydın.
“Debates in Davos show that the criticisms we level of the global system have started to be endorsed by the West as well. Western leaders that used to laud the global system until very recently are now speaking of distortions, injustice, and problems of the global system. Those who used to criticize us harshly now concede that we are right,” President Erdoğan said.
Stressing that Syria is recovering swiftly under the wise leadership of President Ahmad Al-Sharaa and with Türkiye’s strong support, President Erdoğan stated: “Security and stability are being restored after 13.5 years of conflicts. Terrorist organizations are gradually being expelled from the regions they occupied by the Syrian military. Our Kurdish brothers and sisters, not even regarded as citizens under the old regime, are now becoming an integral part of the new Syria, with their rights recognized at the highest level. Likewise, our Turkmen brothers and sisters are also assuming critical positions in the new administration. The fight waged against the terrorist organization called DAESH, waged against this scourge is now being conducted in a stronger and more determined manner. Terrorism in all its forms and manifestations is being eradicated from our region. In other words, problems that are of concern to our country are being resolved one by one. We are reaping the fruits of our standing on the right side of history, our fulfilment of the requirements of being a Muslim, and our commitment to good-neighborliness.”

Noting that Türkiye engages in thorough and meticulous analysis and deliberations before taking action in foreign and domestic policy, including the terror-free Türkiye process, President Erdoğan added: “Praise be to Allah, we have not allowed even the tiniest harm to our country. We have not allowed the fire engulfing the countries surrounding us to spill over into Türkiye. We have managed a very difficult process with great success.”
