Organised for the second time in Antalya under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) started at the NEST Congress and Exhibition Centre in Belek Tourism Region.
President Erdoğan, First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Şentop, Vice President Fuat Oktay and Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu, as well as participants from 75 countries including 17 heads of state and government, 80 ministers, 39 international organisation representatives attended the opening ceremony of the ADF under the theme of "Recoding Diplomacy".
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres attended the ceremony via video conference.
Opening speeches were translated into six languages, including Turkish, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.
At the ADF, which is followed by 585 journalists, 200 of whom are foreign, will address pressing issues on the global agenda from a visionary viewpoint. The three-day-forum will include panels, sessions and bilateral talks.
