Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that Turkey also stood in solidarity with the United States, its NATO ally, against Covid-19.
Altun shared a post on his Twitter account, noting that Turkey continued to deliver medical supplies to its friends and allies.
Altun said, “We are proud to announce that 500,000 surgical masks and other PPE will arrive at @Andrews_JBA (Joint Base Andrews) tomorrow. We stand in solidarity with the United States, our NATO ally, against Covid-19.”
