Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said: “To prevent the economic and socio-political breakthrough of our country to be realized during the post-corona period and to bind our country with pre-dependability order of 18 years ago lie behind the attacks against our economy, our economy administration and our Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak.”
In a thread on his Twitter account, Altun stated that humanity passes through one of the toughest periods of history, and Turkey gave a very worthwhile struggle in every field to be affected at minimum by this process.
Noting that it was tried and tested that when the nation and the state were hand in hand, the result was victory, Altun indicated that they have given and would continue to give a good exam both in the health sector and other fields.
Altun continued as follows: “Just as we achieved great success in the fight against terrorism and we can continue with these accomplishments, we will overcome this crisis with the integration and solidarity of the state-nation. During our struggle against the pandemic, we took exemplary steps for the world concerning the provision of physical distance, the health system's functioning, the production and supply chains of the basic necessities without interruption and the preservation of the public order. The key to success in our fight against the pandemic is the advantageous administration pattern of our new government system and the leadership of our President. The new system that was brought with our President's efforts, the support of People’s Alliance and the approval of the nation has become praiseworthy for our nation in this crisis.”
Emphasizing that while fighting against the coronavirus, on the other hand, the preparations for the post-pandemic period continued meticulously under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at every level of the State, Altun stressed that they exerted great efforts to continue their success achieved in the fight against the pandemic.
“You are not on Turkey’s side”
Adopting President Erdoğan's remarks “We are entering a new period during which fundamental changes would be probably experienced in the global economic, political and social order. God willing, the 21st century will be the century of Turkey” as a motto, and expressing that they were working day and night to this end, Altun added the following:
“While Turkey achieved such a momentum and reached a unique accomplishment in the struggle against the pandemic, unfortunately, the non-national opposition filled up by the lies, superstitions and hatred is trying to pull us down. Useless efforts! Opposition is an essential element of democratic politics. An opposition, which acts in line with the interests of the country and the public, is our highest esteem. However, there is an anti-democratic opposition, which is collaborating with Turkey’s enemies, trying to benefit from the terrorist organizations and fighting with the nation's values!
This non-national opposition is now also rubbing its hands with the expectation that the Turkish economy will experience a crisis after the outbreak, and it is clearly supporting the operations and moves of the global powers in this direction against our economy. Then it is inevitable to ask the following question; Whose side are you on? As you are awaiting to benefit from the unabashed attacks of the global powers which exploit the world by establishing inequalities and become the representative of the brutal economic order, you are not on our, this country’s, this nation’s and Turkey’s side!”
“We will get better, not bad”
Pointing out that the countries that achieved early success, when the pandemic samples of human history are considered, were able to make an economic bounce after controlling the outbreak, Altun noted the following:
“Those who attack against our economy fear that Turkey will emerge stronger from the outbreak. To prevent the economic and socio-political breakthrough of our country to be realized during the post-corona period and to bind our country with pre-dependability order of 18 years ago lie behind the attacks against our economy, our economy administration and our Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak.”
Yes, the last hope of the global powers and the national proxies under their control which try to take advantage of the coups, natural disasters, terrorism and epidemics but cannot achieve the results they expect from any of them, is the possibility that our economy will go bad ... We will get better, not bad.”
Director of Communications Altun also shared a video citing the speech of President Erdoğan, who said: “You won’t be able to succeed, you won’t be able to divide our nation, you won’t be able to pull down our flag, you won’t be able to split our country, you won’t be able to demolish our state, you won’t be able to silence our prayers, you won’t be able to force this country to submit, you won’t be able to suppress this people.”
