Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally gave the order of the operations to completely eliminate FETO and that President Erdoğan’s fight continued not only in Turkey but also abroad.
Altun shared a thread on his Twitter account about the fight against FETO.
"Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally gave the order of the operations to completely eliminate FETO." Altun said and continued: “If our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not resist and gave in to tutelage, FETO, which had been gradually pursuing its sneaky ambitions for 50 years with the aim of shelving democratic governance, would occupy Turkey.
Altun emphasized that President Erdoğan spoiled the insidious and bloody plans of the terrorist organization that secretly infiltrated into all capillaries of the state, particularly politics, civil service, judiciary, treasury, military and security, and controlled and monitored the process right from the start.
Underlining that FETO’s treason attempts towards the state, namely NIO (National Intelligence Organization) operation of February 7, global coup attempt of December 17, attempt of December 25 to collapse the economy and the occupation attempt of July 15, had been eliminated thanks to President Erdoğan’s upright stance and our nation’s will, Altun noted the following:

The most important agenda item of our President’s all international visits and diplomatic contacts has been the fight against FETO. We must remember that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call for resistance, urging people to take to the streets, shed light on the dark night of July 15. Standing shoulder to shoulder with his people, the leader swept the putschists from the ground.
The fight led by our President against FETO, which was determined to take hold of the state, to capture the people and to occupy our country, will continue until it is completely eradicated with all its malicious intentions. The architects, supporters and gunmen of FETO will be called to account for their deeds. Our fight against pro-tutelage circles and terrorists will continue. Neither our people nor history will forgive collaborators, plotters and those who harm this struggle."
