Altun: “It is clear that France is becoming an increasingly dangerous place for journalists”

Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that, French President Emmanuel Macron dreamt of a world, in which he was not subjected to scrutiny or reality, that he wanted reporters not to report because it would upset him and that he wanted a war criminal to win the Libyan civil war just because he so desired.

Altun shared a post on his social media account regarding Macron’s reaction to the Le Figaro reporter.
In his post Director of Communications Altun noted the following:

“We are deeply concerned about French President Macron’s disrespectful reaction to Le Figaro’s Georges Malbrunot over his report on the former’s meeting with Hezbollah.

Keeping in mind that the police brutality against reporters during this year’s protests, it is clear that France is becoming an increasingly dangerous place for journalists.

Mr. Macron dreams of a world, in which he is not subject to scrutiny or reality: He wants reporters not to report because it would upset him. He wants a war criminal to win the Libyan civil war just because he so desires.”
